Live from Music Row Monday morning on The Tennessee Star Report with Michael Patrick Leahy – broadcast on Nashville’s Talk Radio 98.3 and 1510 WLAC weekdays from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. –  host Leahy welcomed the original all-star panelist Crom Carmichael in studio for another edition of Crom’s Commentary.
Leahy: Ladies and gentlemen, without further ado here, is today’s “Crommentary.”
Carmichael: I have been watching the Rittenhouse trial and here’s what’s on trial here. This is the mob versus law and order. It’s just that simple. When you listen to the prosecutor, his whole case is well Rittenhouse shouldn’t have been there, to begin with.
He’s guilty of being there. What was Kyle Rittnehouse there for? He says that he was there, and there is nothing to disapprove of this, to protect private property and provide first aid to people who need it.
And those were the two things that he did until the last I suppose five minutes while he was there. But to listen to the prosecutor, the mob had every right to be there. The burning, violence, and rioting were all normal.
And that every one of those people who was there doing that was justified in doing it. But anyone who was there to try to protect private property had no business being there. And so what you have now is the question of them saying, what was his intent in even coming?
If that is going to be the standard then let’s go back and look at what Durham is doing. And that is what was the intent of the people who came up with the Russian dossier hoax? And we know now that it was created literally out of whole cloth.
And not only was it used as a campaign stunt, but more importantly, it was used in an attempt to overthrow a sitting president. That is sedition. And that also is the mob versus law and order.
We’ll watch the closing arguments and watch the judge’s instructions and then we’ll see what the jury rules. But the left in this country (i.e. the core of the Democrat party) is rooting for the mob and is against law and order.
The person from New York, I can’t remember his name right now, has come out and said if Eric Adams reestablishing the plain clothes police division there will be blood in the streets. And the Left says yes, there will be and has applauded the person.
